Shoreline Vision ASC Celebrates U.S. News & World Report Honor and AAAHC “1095 Strong” Certification

Shoreline Vision, an EyeCare Partners Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Muskegon, Michigan, is celebrating two big wins for quality of care.  

First, Shoreline Vision has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a Best Ambulatory Surgery Center for Ophthalmology. To achieve this status, the center had to meet a range of outcomes-based performance criteria. 

Shoreline Vision received a “High Performing” ASC rating for: 

• Treating a very high number of patients compared to the Michigan median. 
• More experience in performing procedures or treating conditions correlated to positive patient outcomes. 
• Low instances of complications. 

Fewer than 17% of evaluated facilities earned a “High Performing” rating for the 2025 study. Two other ASCs in the ECP network also received this prestigious designation: Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center and St. Charles Surgery Center in Missouri. 

In another win, Shoreline Vision achieved “1095 Strong” status in their recent certification process with the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). This designation is reserved for ASCs that demonstrate high quality standards and readiness for patient care throughout the 1,095 days of the 3-year accreditation cycle. 

The 1.5-day, on-site survey took place this January and was Shoreline Vision’s fifth time through the AAAHC accreditation process. This year, they earned accreditation without a single deficiency in any of the areas measured!
