Continuing in our goal to be the premier, fully integrated regional eye care provider with the mission to preserve and improve vision, Shoreline Vision announces the addition of Deborah Wu, MD to its medical staff.
As a comprehensive ophthalmologist and fellowship trained ophthalmic and facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Wu specializes in cataract surgery, medical and cosmetic eye lid procedures, and glaucoma treatments.
Dr. Wu earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Wisconsin. She went on to complete an internship at Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin, an ophthalmology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and a fellowship at Consultants in Ophthalmic and Facial Plastic Surgery in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Wu is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.

I enjoy educating my patients and strive to treat them as if they were my own family members. I believe the patient-physician relationship is a special bond – built on respect, trust, and open communication,” states Dr. Wu.
